Mr. Perry's ClassWelcome to our class website. This will be a great place to see the thinking and work your child produces in class. The expectation is that all students participate in class discussions. It is through participation in class that students are able to learn. I will note their thinking along with their name for the class to review as well as to communicate to you their active role in class. Students are expected to share their thinking and strategies with peers. This includes adding on to others' thinking, agreeing or disagreeing with ideas, and formulating new strategies together. Mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn and the classroom is a safe place to take risks. As the parent, and your child's first teacher, you have the opportunity to discuss their work at home as well. I hope that you find this website a valuable resource to discuss your child's learning with them. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you to make this your child's most successful year yet!
